Our rate for developmental editing is £50 per 1,000 words, with substantial discounts available for new clients, full-time students, and bona fide charitable causes. Developmental editing includes in-depth analysis of your manuscript’s structure, content, tone, style, level of detail, and potential market, as well as very thorough copy editing.
The rate for copy-editing alone is £8 per 1,000 words.
Rewriting, primary research, fact-checking, picture research and picture clearances are available as separate services, at our usual day rate of £150.
